Dr. Maximilian Mayer

Dr. Maximilian Mayer has been working as a tax advisor at BLL since 2024. In his role at BLL, he focuses particularly on tax compliance for international private equity and venture capital funds.

After qualifying as a tax advisor and completing two years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bayreuth, Maximilian joined BLL directly. In addition to his professional work, he serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Bayreuth.

Maximilian studied business administration at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he earned both his bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) and master’s degree (M.Sc.). He subsequently completed his doctorate at the Chair of Business Taxation under Prof. Dr. Sebastian Schanz at the University of Bayreuth, obtaining the degree of Dr. rer. pol.
